Jack and the beanstalk was one of my first storybooks. Well, this one though not as impressive as Jack’s is from my backyard.

Indian Rhinoceros in Nepal

The Chitwan National Park is apparently Nepal’s first national park. It was also granted the status of a world heritage site in 1984. Chitwan is a beautiful place. The ‘safari’ involves mounting an elephant and riding into the dense forest. Animals one can see include rhinos, spotted deer, and crocodiles. There are places to stay and lodging is not very expensive. The Indian Rhinoceros is still considered an endangered species.
